Meet Jacques Lesec
Jacques Lesec is an architect and metal sculptor based in Northern California. He specializes in large format public art and custom design commissions.
Jacques’ work resides between the formal disciplines of art and architecture, pairing advanced 3D digital design platforms with emerging manufacturing technologies. This unique approach results in novel concepts that dissolve the boundaries between digital and physical form. In addition to his career as an artist, Jacques Lesec is also a licensed architect and Principle at Napa Valley based design firm, Jacques Lesec Architecture.
Professional Training
Jacques Lesec earned his MA in Architectural Design from the Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc) in 2012, where he trained in advanced digital modeling platforms and emerging mix-media representation technologies.
During his graduate studies, Jacques participated in several highly published design/build concepts as an intern at Oyler Wu Collaborative and Poetic Kinetics. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
